I just love white space on cards but never seem to be able to manage it.
It looks bare - so I add more, and more until I finally reach the overdone cluttered look.
Thanks to the fabulous sketch at Friday Sketchers this week I've done it!! I couldn't resist putting a flourish border around the papers and image but LOOK - not one flower, not one ribbon, no charms. But did sneak a few pearls and some leaves in. My challenge to myself finally accomplished. The image is one sent to me by my matey Tara (thanks honey) so gorgeous to colour that I actually managed to use my copics - another first - most end up in the bin - images that is not Copics. This is not brilliant but you know what they say
'Practice makes Perfect' I just have to remember to switch mind set and not use them as I use pastels or watercolours.
Not the best card I've ever done but all in all - I like it and I'm chuffed to bits - bad day

Well Heather, you should be proud of yourself.. I absolutely love it!
I am like you.. not too sure about too much white space, but hey, you've done it great. Love the copics too.. don't forget to use a coated cardstock, apparantly it makes it easier to blend - I bought my first lot last week and have fell in love with them.. this is just a little tip the lady gave me.

Your card is gorgeous heather, love the colours, the stamp and your LO. Its very hard not to keep adding those extra touches, but less is more in some ways!
