Truly Scrumptious goes Vintage

Hi everyone, welcome to our new Truly Scrumptious challenge. Thanks so much for all your entries to Challenge No.54. It was great to see all the different interpretations of our sketch.

This week our challenge is a theme
 Vintage

I coloured the beautiful Sugar Nellie image - Joy - with the usual Copics, cut her out with round nesties then sat her on a frame cut with one of Marianne Creatables. The edges are inked with vintage photo distress ink and stickled with bronze distress stickles. The papers are from the 7 Gypsies Venice pad and as they are quite dark I distressed the edges with a white acrylic pain dauber, before stickling them with crystal stickles. The lace, flowers and ribbon are all from my stash. and the flourishes cut with a Marianne creatable die.

We are happy to welcome back Sketching Stamper as our challenge sponsor. Christine is a fantastic artist and has the most gorgeous digi images in her store. The lucky winner of this challenge will get to choose six images as their prize.

The soft apricot with the aqua is stunning especially that ribbon & flourish combination. I like the darkness balanced with the aqua & the way the doily surrond of the image echoes her hair.
