I've managed - Less is More - again!!

Oh I can't tell you the trouble I've had with this one - but I had to persevere as that Mandi shouted at me for missing a couple of weeks of Less is More, a girl has to have a holiday Mandi!!
I stamped it several times before I got it how I wanted it, it's still not perfect but time has defeated me.
The main problem was photographing it, the script is stamped in Adirondak Expresso ink and IRL quite a soft brown, but would it photograph brown - NO!!
I photographed it all around the house, with daylight, with flash, with daylight lamps, in the light tent, absolutely nothing I tried would get the colours true!!

I started by inking the flourish stamp (Crafty Individuals) with Tumbled Glass and Bundled Sage distress inks, I then spritzed the stamp with Pearl Glimmer Mist before stamping - they have a lovely pearly sheen that again would not photograph. The Script stamp is by Crafty Secret and stamped over the flourishes with the Adirondak in which IRL is a gorgeous chocolately brown.

This is the type of CAS card I'm not good at (certainly not good at photographing them) but have many more ideas of what I would like to try - time permitting - hah!! but - who knows!!

These two stamps work so well - I love the variation of colour of distress inks on the flourish - my type of colours. Photos are not my strong point either and more often than not I have to use the 'fixing' tool to get true colour and contrast. Wonderful card, and love the sentiment. Lynn x

Wow, I thought I might be on the wrong blog LOL! This is not a typical Heather card, but it is equally elegant and lovely. Chrissie, like you, is one of my favorite blogs to follow. Now that she started "LiM" challenge blog, I have only participated once. Yikes! I hope to remedy that :) I am glad you are supporting her with your wonderful cards.

Let's hope time permits us to see some more of your ideas Heather!
This one is great even if the camera refused to comply.
I must try the technique of spritzing a stamp with Glimmer Mist, that sounds a totally brilliant idea.
I love the sentiment you used too!
Great to see you back with us!
