Teddy Bo is Duck egg blue and Brown

I've been busy trying to get ahead with my DT cards before I head back to the UK for a couple of weeks, but when I begin to feel like a production line I just have to stop and do something else, otherwise I find all my cards starting to look alike - my creativity gets stiffled!! So this is one to try and free up my creativity again, but alas another card that was difficult to photograph and my brown is looking black yet again!!

This is inspired by the duck egg blue and brown challenge over at the

This is a simple gate-fold card and I decided to leave the image on the inside.

Here when you open the card we have Teddy Bea, relaxing in her bath and on either side we have the accessory digi stamps. The mirror on the right has a computer generated sentiment and I covered the 'glass' with Glamour dust in an endeavour to make it look like it was steamed up from the heat - not sure it worked!!

Here is a close up of Teddy Bea, coloured with Copics, the edges stamped with the Magnolia New Year swirl stamp, the bas (supposedly skirting board) is cut with an MS punch, and the 'dado' rail with a Spellbinder's borderability.

The bath robe, mat and slippers

The mirror.

This card is now on it's way to the UK, possible even there, although that is probably being over optimistic!!

Now some award that I have been sitting on for a couple of weeks.

This one from by adorable friend Moni

From by adorable friend Moni
The rules: you need to thank the person that gave you this award, need to tell 7 things about your self and pass it to 15 persons.

7 things about me?? difficult - I'm pretty boring really!!

1. I'm a caffeine addict
2. It takes me hours to make one card
3. I love experimenting with anything and everything
4. I have a habit of getting lost anywhere and everywhere. I got lost 31/2 miles
from home the weekend before I left the UK to come and live in Germany. I
knew where I was, where I wanted to be but couldn't for the life in me work out to get there so I had to get off the motorway and phone for help.
5. I love cooking - probably because I love eating.
6.

I'm not passing these awards one, too much computer time involved linking for my poor suffering eyes.  I would like my faithful visitors who leave me the loveliest of comments (even when I am unable to return their visits for whatever reason) to take these awards - you know who you are and I really want you to have them so please help yourselves with my love.

I will write more boring facts about me when I can think of them.

Teddy Bea's slippers & bathrobe are delightful & I love how you've given the room a dado & skirting board & those swirls above look like steam coming out of the bath. Your imagination is incredible. Those papers are delightful & as for directions - I'm hopeless when it comes to left & right. Tell me to go left & I'll go right. Why I ever end up being the map reader I don't know. I too take hours if not days over making just one card.
I do hope you can get your eyes more comfortable.
Much love
Paula (PEP)

Another gorgeous job of coloring and shading. The way you added the extras to the sides is clever too. That tub really stands out. Well done.
