Good morning!! It's time for another challenge here on BasicGrey Challenges and this week we would like to see WINGS!!!

Thanks so much to you all for joining our last challenge, it was lovely to see so many of your gorgeous creations.

I chose to use the beautiful Noon from Crafts and Me and sat her on the Make it Crafty Swing.
I coloured in Noon in Copics which really aren't behaving very well at the moment - refusing to blend properly. It's consoling to know that others are also having this problem and we all have different theories as to why!! I find it's the R (reds), the B (blues) and the redish toned E (earth) colours that are the problem - greens, yellow - fine - no problem!!
I used papers from the Boxer range then got terrible stuck on embellishing this card, nothing at all seemed to work so in the end I opted for just using two pearl clusters my adorable friend America sent me.

As always, our wonderful sponsor Simon Says Stamp is offering one lucky winner a fab $25 shopping spree in the Simon Says Superstore, just think of the goodies you could treat yourself to with that !!

(Please note: This is a voucher code that entitles the winner to a $25 saving off their order in Simon Says Stamp, P+P charges will still apply unless the conditions are met to earn free P+P, please check here if you would like to see these conditions)

Hope you're all having a brilliant weekend, very cold, foggy and frosty here - I'm beginning to think I should migrate along with the swallows down to equatorial Africa for the winters.

Your card is just gorgeous Heather, what an amazing image which is coloured so beautifully. I have no idea about the Copics, perhaps having the heating on full blast dries them out too quickly on the paper ? I'm finding my blender pen likes lots of refill ink !!

Have a good weekend,

Hugs,

Jo xxx

The way that edge tot he image panel picks up the pattern of the papers is amazing & the colouring of the ribbons on the swing. I think that BG pad may be the first I hunt out. Your colouring of her dress is so soft it makes me think of suede or velvet, the texture is quite tactile. As for the pearl swirls - love the way the deep iridescent colours pick up the colours of the papers too. A real stunner.
