Simon Says - New Beginnings!!

Before moving onto the new challenge at Simon Says Stamp we would like to THANK YOU for all your entries to the challenges over the last 12 months and hope you will continue to support us and join in over the next year too.

The theme for this next challenge is.............

NEW BEGININGS

New Baby, New Home, New Life ( Wedding Engagement), New Year,New Job, one of the DT suggested New Puppy/Kitten ,,, cute !!,,, anything New !! :-)

I chose the House Mouse image -  Cosy Shoe (I do love this image for a new baby card) and coloured it with the usual Copics.  Ive cut it out using round nesties and mouted it onto circles cut with Spellbinders eyelet circles.
The papers I've use are the gorgeous Tim Holtz Vintage Shabby papers.

I had an Uncle Tim Holtz moment here - I made a flower using his Tattered Florals die out of Grunge paper
I inked the cut flowers using Tim's Ink applicator with Walnut Stain distress ink
When this had dried I embossed a swirl pattern Swirl Embossing folder, I used
Glossy Accents to stick the whole together and then sprayed with
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Creme de Chocolat I finished it with a few stamens from my stash.

The Metal corners also got the TH treatment - they are coloured with
Archival ink in Coffee, coated with Distressed embossing powder and heat embossed to give them the distressed look.

The leaves are cut with an old Sizzix die and all else is from my stash.
