Tilda's doing a few challenges today

I was sorting out my Tilda's when I came across this little beauty - tucked away. I've had her over a year and this is the first time she's seen ink - how disgraceful is that!!

I've coloured her with distress inks, my Copics aren't behaving very well and I'm putting it down to the intense cold - golly am I going to have to turn the heating up to keep my Copics warm????

The papers are the fabulous Echo Park they have them at Simon Says Stamp and methinks I should get some more before they run out. The flower us cut with an uncle Tim's tattered floral die and the snowflakes and the icicles with Crealies dies, the swirl with a Marianne creatable and all are liberally covered in Glamour dust. The pearls, ribbon and charm are from my stash and there's a Magnolia chandelier thingy tucked in at the bottom.

Look at the list of challenges I managed - I had to find a few so the lovely Paula didn't have to go racing around blogland looking for them for me, she had done this so often guilt is beginning to set in!!! I must saying I have been sparing with embellishments recently - sort of less is more but I think I've gone overboard on this one, were there a challenge for the most embellishments on a card I would win it hands down!!

Friday Sketchers The Sketch
Just Magnolia - A Chtistmas Card
Alphabet Challenge - G is for Glitter
Daring Cardmakers - Snow much fun
Creative Card Crew - Anything goes
Bunny Zoe's - Sparkle & Shine
Lexi's Creations - Glitter & Pearls
Papertake Weekly - Red and Green Must Not be Seen.
Stamp with Fun - Christmas
Top Tip Tuesday - Anything Goes - thanks Leanne!!

Right now it's back to writing Christmas card, I fed up of creating them now but I much rather make them than write them.

Wow, this is beautiful Heather. I love that you've used lots of embellishments. I too have done quite a lot of clean and simple cards recently - time to rummage in the embellishment draw I think!

Ooh lovely, such a gorgeous shine to your card. Had to smile at the thought of you putting the heating on to keep your copics warm. Mine have been playing up a bit too, but I think that's because I was working under a hot spotlight. Anyway, how could you leave this Tilda in a drawer somewhere? She's been doing overtime for me, lol. CoB

I blushed & laughed & I really didn't mean to make you feel guilty..... Anyhow - love the colours, hadn't thought of cool blues & warm aquas - will have to give that a go....interesting about the copics. I think my favourite part of this is that floral staff - & the way you've coloured movement into the ribbon.
Stay warm.

This is beautiful, that Tilda is so cute. You need to ink her up more often.

I love the blue theme, and that snowflake charm is lovely!! As for the embellishments, if they work, why not?!
