It was our very own America's birthday yesterday 4th July and this is a suprise party we are throwing for her - she knows nothing about it as has been on the road with her family travelling across America to a home. She thinks it's a totally different challenge altogether but she does have internet connection so imagine her suprise when she logs in to this week's challenge!!!
Well SUPRISE, SUPRISE my lovely, adorable friend this is especially for you!!!

I was - for obvious reason going to use Red, White and Blue colours, then changed my mind and opted for peach and brown. The backing papers are from Donna's Bearly Mine Designs Extreme Vol III. The image is 'Beary nice song' and coloured in Copic markers. I searched the web to find sheet music for Happy Birthday, reduced it, inked the edges and sat it at an angle beneath the image. I also found some musical notes, for Gruffie to 'play'. The letters spelling America's name are from Stampendous Classic Bold Alphabet, the ribbon flowers and pearls are all from my stash.
Just a quick posting as I have to rush out, I would have left a list of Copics used had I not lost it again - ooops!!

Well, looks like we had a well rounded party for sure...music, goodies, dancing...who could ask for a better birthday party! Loved the colors you chose and that image is so great and love that alphabet!
