Creative Card Crew & Copic Colour Challenges

This is my card for the Creative Card Crew and Copic Colour challenges.
I used one of the new Sugar Nellie images (Fragile Beauty) that I won in the CCC challenge a couple of weeks ago. Isn't she a little cutie and an absolute dream to colour. The papers are a download from Digi-chick, the sentiment Penny Black, the flowers are a mixture and the leaves cut with a Woodware punch. I used the Copic Colours RV11 - blouse, YO6 - butterflies (not much - don't do bright yellow) and E37 (no E39) on the jeans and hair.

Materials
BC - bazzill : DP - Digi-chick download : Image - Sugar Nellie Fragile Beauty : Medium - Copics : Punch- Woodware leaf : Card candy : rest from stash

Colour Create - Colours of the Rainbow

We welcome a new designer to our team this week. Di (hi Di - welcome hunny) has joined us on a permanent basis and we are all thrilled as she makes stunning cards and will certainly be an inspiration to us all. Welcome to the team Di, we hope you have lots of fun! Sadly, we are saying goodbye to Judy (miss you Judy), who has stepped down from her DT post due to family commitments. We will really miss you Judy and hope you can still join in from time to time ;o)

Before announcing details of this week's challenge, we are pleased to offer some candy as a 'thank you' for putting up with the changes we've made this week. One lucky winner will receive the following items and all we ask is that you only enter this challenge if you would like to be entered into the draw. Otherwise, please feel free as always to combine our challenge with any others you fancy entering.

The candy consists of:
DCWV Spring Stack Papers
Papermania Flowery Border Strips
Hobbycraft Lilac Wired Organza Ribbon
Queen & Co Pink Felt Fusion Ribbon
Papermania Snag'em Stamp Duo
White Fabric Roses

Here is your colour combination then:

So, please use as many of the rainbow colours as you can in your creation this week.

For the extra option we would like you to create a scene on your card or project, but please remember that this is not compulsory.

******************

Oh Boy !! did this week's challenge take me out of my comfort zone. Rainbow colours - not really me, but I could cope with that, create a scene - great I love creating a scene - now came the bit that really had me 'stumped' - putting them together - EEEK!!! I went for the easy option of downloading a rainbow image and adding it to my scene which I then kept in fairly neutral colours. Tilda is coloured in distress inks, the mushrooms in Copics. I paper pieced the trees with Pink Petticoat downloaded papers and also used the same range of papers for the grass. The 'fence' is Basic Grey chipboard which I covered with the same paper as the tree bark then covered Glossy accents. The cow is a little die cut I've had forever - I put it in the field then thought - now you're being silly, so I took it off.
But I missed it, I think it looks great there - so I put it back.

I am also entering this card for the
Magnolia Down Under challenge which is 'Moving to the Country' - I think this card qualifies for this challenge quite well.

I haven't done the inside (it took too long to do the outside lol) plus I'm not sure quite how to tackle the inside - suggestion welcome - please.

A Wedding Envelope for Stampacular

I couldn't do last week's challenge Stampacular challenge due a small problem - I kept eating the chocolate on the way home from the shop - consequently I never had any chocolate to make a holder for!! In the end I gave up.

Stampacular Sunday Challenge has Weddings as the theme for this week. I decided to make an envelope which can hold a cheque or gift voucher. I used Stempelglede grunge flourish stamps on a downloaded paper, decorated the edges with lace and gold braid, used a flourish heart stamp I bought the last time I was in Germany and embossed it with gold powder. The flowers are a mixture of hand made and bought. to which I attached a couple of gold rings. Not my normal type of card but I was in an experimental mood and have to say I can't make my mind up whether I like it or not.

Please do excuse the terrible photograph.

Eline's Baby does Sketch Saturday

Here's my interpretation of the sketch at Sketch Saturday - I think the only way I have deviated is to turn it upside down.
I used Eline Pellinkof image that the lovely Larissa sent me. I have long been an admirer of Eline's designs so you can imagine how puzzled I was when I found an Email from her in my Inbox - I just kept staring at it - wondering what she had emailed me for, when I eventually got round to opening it WHOOHOO - she was asking if I minded her featuring one of my cards on her blog - did I MIND !! I was over the moon I can tell you and so honoured and flattered that the designer herself would want to feature one of my cards.

I used papers downloaded form the Sweete Shop and coloured the image with pastels. The sentiment is on the outside is Inkadinkado and on the inside Personal Impressions.

House Mouse #40 - Wedding/Anniversary

House Mouse & Friends Challenge #40 - Weddings/Anniversaries

Goodbye to Jennifer and Judy who have left the team - best wishes and i hope to see you around.

We will be looking for a guest designer or two to join our team in the near future.
Our challenge this week is :~ Wedding/Anniversary
Please create anything you would like for wedding/anniversary theme.

This week we are sponsored by...........

Sassy Crafts

I'm sure some of you will already know this is my own little store, and here's the prize for this week................

The above stamps are Magnolias Bartender Edwin and Tilda on Promenade. There will also be other bits and pieces added to the prize.

Check out what our lovely DT have come up with to help inspire you. Don't forget to check out their blogs for more details!!

******************************
I like to keep my Wedding/Anniversary cards fairly simple and so chose to use the cuttlebug Swiss Dot folder at the top and print the image at the bottom. I coloured the image with
Copics, Stickled the streamer, added a few die cut hearts to which I added glossy Accents and finished with a simples sentiment and a ribbon.

I mirrored the outside on the in, but turned it upside down and added an Anniversary verse and have just realized I haven't left anywhere to write - will have to decorate the left inside and leave space for a message.
