Simon Says....................Anything goes

Good Morning everyone - yet another week has flown by and Simon Says  it's time for new challenge .

and thank you for all your fabulous entries for our No-cook recipe challenge, we certainly have some fantastic 'cooks' out there!!

This week ....................Anything goes.......................

can't be simpler than that, can it?? The Design team are featuring Unity Stamps and if you have any would love to see what you create with them, but it isn't necessary to use them to enter the challenge.

Another card that is very difficult to photograph, I have photographed this one so many times I ended up with the message 'Card Full' on my camera. I shall keep trying until it look reasonably like it does IRL.

I created a background paper first using the Unity Butterfly  stamp randomly then heat embossing it using White embossing powder then I used distress inks (Dusty Concorde, Faded Jeans and Peeled paint) and gently sponged the background.

I used the Unity Balloon as my image and I tried to give the whole card a  'light and floaty' feel. I used the same distress inks to colour the balloon with the addition of Victorian Velvet. The sentiment is part of the stamp set and this and the balloon are coated with Glamour Dust. The swirls is a Sizzix die the Butterflies pare a Martha Stewart punch and the flowers cut from vellum with the EK Success retro flower punches. The ribbon is fro my stash and the pearl beading I dug out from my sewing box and I have to say I'm glad to have found a use for it eventually!!

As usual Heidi will be giving one lucky entrant a $50 voucher to her FANTASTIC Simon Says Stamp Superstore  !! and with so many new goodies arriving daily HOT from the CHA there is masses to choose from !! See the NEWEST stuff on the All New Just In Page

For fabulous tutorials and the chance to win some fabby blog candy you really need to keep a close eye on the Simon Says Stamp Blog too.

I'm also entering this card into the ABC challenge - P is for pearls
and The Alphabet Challenge which is R for ribbon

I hope you're all having a great week, I'm off to try and re-start my day.
The Simon Says Gift voucher above I always place in the center of the post.
This week it's refusing to go! When I click right, it goes to the right, when I click left it goes to the left, when I click center it goes to the left. I wonder is it some sort of puzzle Mr Blogger has devised for us????

Oh Blogger is doing that for you as well! Hmmmm. Love the background you created & that stunning balloon. the ribbon certainly makes it all rather floaty & so does the vellum not to mention those shimmery butterflies. Love the way the beading picks out the spots in the ribbon too.
