The Great Outdoors has Trees

The challenge at Totally Papercrafts this week is 'The Great Outdoors' whilst the ABC Christmas Challenge want Trees so I think I'm pretty safe with this one.

The images are Lili of the Valley and the background is Magnolia's Winter scene - I think this one is night. It is coloured with Copics, the snow on the ground and trees is Stardust stickles, the fur on the hats is a mix of fun flock and Polar white flowersoft and the snow flakes are liquid pearls. I used Basic Grey's Eskimo kisses papers, the swirls are cut with a Marianne die and the snowflakes with a Provocraft 'Build a flake and coated with Diamond Dust. The pearl centres are from the Hobby House. I used a Bosscut die to cut the tiny flower in her hat as I had covered the original one up with the flower soft mix - derrrrrr!!!!!

This card took most of yesterday to make as I was permanently waiting for something to dry - i shall try in future to think things through before I start and perhaps making a batch of snowflakes in advance would help.

EDITED - Ooh brain clicked into gear I knew there was another challenge I intended this card for and I've just found my note whilst tidying my desk - and it was, or is CES challenges which is 'Get ahead get a Hat
