House Mouse challenge #79

It's time for another challenge at House Mouse & Friends Monday challenge. We had a fabulous hop and hope you all enjoyed hopping around with us last challenge, have to say you provided with some amazing creations.

The challenge post is now up and the blog hop winner is announced!!

Sadly we cannot publish the next challenge, or the winner of the amazing prizes as yet as our leader Mary has all the information and no internet!!!

The prize for this challenge is a fabulous:-

$20.00 Gift Certificate to 7 Kids College Fund!!

Does this give you a clue as to what our next challenge will be?

I had a few problems with this one - mainly the fact I had no school type mousies and had to be inventive. Do you ever get ideas then wished you hadn't?  The blackboard part of the easel was easy - the legs - they got shorter and shorter until I reached a point I just had to stop before it became legless!!!
I had a foam alphabet which I thought I could colour white with acrylic paint then colour them with Copics - great idea - except it took about 10 coats of white acrylic to cover them. I had no numbers so had to improvise there.

Now onto the mousies - the one at the top is 'curious Muzzy', He has really long hair which is dark grey. He is very, very curious and extremely investigative.
Bottom left is Mudpie 'Relax' - he is brown with a little nick in his ear which happened when he and Maxwell were chasing the same piece of cheese.
On the right is Maxwell who is a reddish brown, he is a prankster and loves to play tricks.
The little one at the bottom is Monica, she is very tiny with huge feet which you can't see on this image, and she is sweet, innocent and charming.

Hope you enjoyed getting to know the mousies a little better and you all have a good week - weekend will soon be here again!!!

Mousies are going on my shopping list - loved your little stories about them & I do sympathize - ever tried inking white Mulberry paper with Encore ink - don't! Mine looked like dirty paper.Love the easel idea & I rather like the short legs - much easier for the mice to climb up & not too far for them to fall.

oh my goodness Heather I can't believe it - yes I have now checked the House Mouse challenge (again I popped in yesterday to find out the new challenge but of course it wasn't up). ooooooh wow and double wow. all those stamps Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeek
There is one very happy crafter around this morning. I am definitely gonna get a couple of tiny seperate ones so that no matter what the challenge I can 'blag' something together.
