DP2 for Friday Sketchers

I love this image of Mo's - it's such a happy, joyful image and Mo's Digital Challenge this week is "Shades of brown, Age it, Antique it" - perfect.
You all know how I love my vintage, distressed shabby chic look.

I stamped the image on kraft cardstock, coloured it with Copics and used a cream coloured pastel pencil to highlight it in parts. The papers are Graphic 45. The piece just underneath my nuns is stamped with a Kaiser music stamp with Adirondak ink in Coffee. The edges are distressed with the TH distressing tool, in with Antique linen and glittered with Gold Stickles. I dyed the lace with Antique Linen distress ink and the cord, the cross charm and pearls are all from my stash.
I had my papers ready but wasn't sure how to put them together until I found the fabulous sketch over at Friday Sketchers - another perfect!!

My computer is driving my crazy!!!  I've been unable to get in to my email account all day, although I' can now and half the time I try and comment I get the message "Cannot connect..........".  My son is going to see if he can sort it out over the weekend before I find the nearest canal and hurl the pesky thing into it. So keeps your fingers crossed for me, or it, or both of us.

This is so delightful! Stunner of a card. I watched the second "Nun movie" with Woppie Goldberg the other day. This is them and their singing. Totally fun!

Huge computer sympathies - been playing with husband's Apple to get myself started - really really impressed so far. Will keep you posted as I'm going to be having some training with it too (incredible what Apple can provide). I love these nuns - & your embellishments work beautifully appropriately - made me think of my Mum (she was an ordained Minister) too. Take care with yourself too.
