Simon Says Stamp challenge a Photo inspiration

This week at Simon Says Stamp challenge we have a photo inspiration for you. As usual our wonderful Heidi has provided an a shopping spree in the fabulously stocked Simon Says Stamp store to the value of $25.

I looked at the photograph and felt  warm, summer days, blue seas and skies, so I decided Tilda and Edwin could have a beach wedding.  I stamped Tilda and Edwin and masked the image, cut a circle out with Spellbinders round nesties and placed it on the mask where I wanted the sun. I brayered the background using Adirondak inks, took away the circle place the piece of paper from which I cut the circle and used that as a mask whilst I brayered the sun and  then coloured the image with distress inks. I decided to use the umbrella/parasol element of the photograph. I now have a bin full of parasols, pearlised paper ones, vellum ones, pleated ones, lace ones, you name it - it's in my bin!! I eventually settled on this one. I inked the debossed side of the Provocraft Textile folder then ran it through the bug leaving the debossed part blue. I cut the shape out by hand, shaped it lightly and added lace to the edge. I used the remainder of the embossed paper to cut the flowers with the EK Success retro flower punches, the leaves with a Woodware punch. The DP is Magnolia and everything used so far are available at the wonderful Simon Says Stamp store, which leaves only the lace and pearls from my stash.
