This is my first week as Guest DT for Just Magnolia and a fabulous start with this fantastic sketch by Jane
I chose this cute little Tilda from the Winter collection - she's definitely my favourite. I stamped her, cut her out using a Nellie Snellon rectange die, masked her and then inked the corners with with Walnut stain and stamped two opposite corners with an ancient corner stamp of unknown origin. I then coloured her with distress inks - list at the bottom of the post.
The paper are a download (I can't tell you who by as this information is in my computer at home) and I stamped the corners of the blue spotted one with the same corner stamp I used for the image. The sentiment is by WOJ and if I stamped it once I stamped it a dozen times. I wasn't happy with any of them until I hit on the idea of stamping it on some ribbon which seemed to blend with the rest of the card better.
The embellishments are all from my stash.
Skin - Tattered Rose & Vintage Photo
Dress & Socks - Faded jeans & Weathered wood.
Hair and Shoes - Mustard Seed & Walnut stain
(This must be a first for me - using so few colours)
This post has taken me forever to do - I can't get on with the settings on my daughter's computer but she'd kill me if I altered them.
Tomorrow I'm off to meet up with my Basic Grey teamies down at the NEC, I do hope I bump into any of you who are there - if you spot me please, please say Hello, I'd love to meet you.
