Colour Create #14 - chocolate, red & cream

This week's challenge has been created by our lovely Mina. Mina has some stunning, original ideas when it comes to her creations and is a constant source of inspiration. She is now a member of several challenge teams - I really don't know how she does it!!
We have the first card this week from our Guest Designer Juliet and it is stunning. I hope you will be as impressed as we are by her amazing creations and don't forget to check
out the other DT's wonderful creations

For this week's extra option we would like you to add ribbons to your creations, but please remember that this is not compulsory.

*********************

I used Bo Bunny coffee dot basic card stock, the red ? - silly me cut the bottom off (again) and the cream Paper Adventures - Aged Linen - wheat. I coloured my Gorjuss girl with distress inks and stamped the corner with a stamp (bought in Germany) from a packet of two (about £1.20 - how's that for a bargain). The rose in the center of the Petaloo flower is from the haberdashery stall on my local market as is the ribbon and the sentiment is from Inkadinkado.

Now a question for you all - what is that thing around the Gorjuss gir'ls neck? I could not make my mind up - it looks a little like a tape measure - but why has she got a tape measure round her neck? I just couldn't make my mind up so I ignored it.

I've pretty much mirrored the outside on the in and kept it simple.

Materials
BC - Bo Bunny - coffee dot : DP - ? + Paper Adventures Aged Linen, wheat : Image - Suzanne Woolcott Gorjuss girl : Distress inks : Corner flourish - German : Sentiment - Inkadinkado : Nestie labels 4 : Leone Em branch punch : Rest from stash

She is so lovely! You have really used the colors which were needed.
I wondered the same thing in the stamp but couldn't figure out what it could be. It could be a measure as you said.
Fabulous card.

Gorgeous card Heather! What a lovely color combination! I also don't know what that thing is, but it does look like a tape measure so maybe you are right! :) I really like the big bow on your card!

Wow Heather, what a stunning card! I'm loving what everyone has come up with for this colour scheme!
I just love the way your sweet Gorjuss girl goes so beautifully with this LO, it has a real vintage look, just glorious!
BTW I thought it was the undone tie neck of her little dress but I'm probably totally wrong.
