Truly Scrumptious

This weeks challenge which is sponsored by Whimsy Stamps. This weeks challenge is hosted by Design Team member Michele and she has put together a fab sketch for you to use. Whimsy Stamps have a range of adorable child and animal images so it seemed appropriate that the theme for this challenge is to make a card for a child. Remember, you need to follow the sketch AND the theme to be entered into the draw for the prize.

I chose papers by Raher which I bought in Germany last year and I flipped the sketch onto it's side to accomodate the image which is by Xelacrafts. I coloured the image with distress inks and partially cut out some of the leaves to overlap the image. I added corners cut with the vintage corner die and a tattered flower to finish it. I have this card in mind for my little neighbour Antony who frequently calls to see if I am 'Coming out to play' and I will add his name at the bottom at some point.
