Truly Scrumptious is tied in Knots

Another fortnight has flown by and it's time for another challenge at Truly Scrumptious with another fabulous sketch by Sharon and the optional extra is to use a knot somewhere on your card.

We are delighted to welcome back Stampattack Art Stamps as our sponsor this week. Stampattack specialise in themed plates and they design and manufacture their own rubber. As well as sponsoring this challenge, Carol is also offering all our blog readers FREE postage - just quote the code SA111.
Check out the fabulous plate on offer as this time's prize.

I tried to think of different types of knot I could use, I did think of using my little hAnglar fishing boy and tying him a fishing net - yes right - it was taking longer than I had time for so I abandoned that idea and came up with this one. I used this little Anglar boy, coloured him in Copics, cut him out and sat him on a Magnolia log which I used as a swing and tied to another log at the top of the image block. I used garden twine to tie the swing to the log. The papers are Basic Grey, Green at Heart, I used vellum behind the image which I embossed with the Cuttlebug Swirls and Birders folder. I cut the branch at the top with a Sizzix die and attached leaves that I bought somewhere local I think.  The ribbon is from my stash.

And he really does swing look!!

I shall be back shortly with my Simon Says Stamp DT card, then later today with my Copic Creations DT card - wow, three in one day - glad it doesn't fall like this often.

  11. What a super idea with the trunk swing & those leaves on the branch. Love the colours too.
The vellum works so well - absolutely delightful - 3 in one day.......goodness.... don't think I'd manage that at all - would have to sleep for a week........but it's amazing what can be achieved when we have to......Brilliant all round.
