As always we are sponsored by the lovely Heidi and she will be giving one lucky entrant a trolley dash around her Simon Says Stamp Store to the value of $25 !! There are some fabulous new brands just arriving too ,,,, we now have Lili of the Valley stamps AND the new Unmounted House Mouse stamps
We have the very talented Jackie aka Days in the Life of.... joining us in the Designer Spotlight for a month and if you haven't visited her blog you are in for a real treat :-) her work is fabulous ! :-)
After being out of action for 8/10 days whilst my eyes rested and I picked up my new specs I ended up behind with my DT creations, so do I choose to do something fairly simple and quick - NO - I chose to make a stationery box, quite detailed, with quite a lot of work involved, sometimes I'm my own worst enemy!!
You can find the instructions for this box HERE. I used Bazill cardstock and Basic Grey's Indian Summer papers, the Simon Says Stamp store have a plentiful collection of Basic Grey and they have in store the element stickers which I used to decorate the box, card and the contents.
EDITED
I couldn't find the photographs of the insides anywhere (think Mr Blogger has gobbled them up) so I've quickly rephotographed them.
This is the inside of the box with gift cards, Post-it notes, notebook, stamp holder and pen. There should be 6 notelets but time eluded me and there are only two so far. I'm trying to make them CAS and if you know me I don't find that easy, quick and easy they should be - to me 'painful and slow'
So far I managed 4 out of 6 tags and there are no stamps as I want to put English stamps in, not German.
This is a what I've done so far, the tags are cut with Nestability label and I've attached some of the element stickers to them.
Oh what is Blogger playing at now? I do wish he wouldn't try and mend things that aren't broken!!!.
When I went to upload a photograph of the contents of the box , hundreds and hundreds of photographs appeared, there are people there I've never seen in my life, cards that definitely are not mine, but one little photograph of the contents of my box - NO!!!
I shall publish this post - keep my appointment at the optician and then return and try to find the elusive photographs.
Please do check out the other DT's creations, they are amazing and are sure to inspire you.

I wondered if it was just me - wretched Blogger - that old way of posting photos worked fine, now it's hours. Thanks for making me feel better...... I know what you mean about CAS & trying to do something easy - my Mum always told me that if it was possible to do something via the most difficult route I'd do it that way. I do love the box - tremendous amount of detail but so worthwhile.
