It's Vintage today at House Mouse & Friends and guess who's choice it was,yes ME - those of you who know me know how I love my vintage, not that good at it, but I do love having a go. If you don't like vintage, just leave me a comment and shout at me and I'll not do it again, well not for a while anyway.
I used the image 'Will sew for friends' and coloured it with Copics, I stained the edges with Vintage photo distress inks and cut out a frame with nestability dies. I cut the blue out with the same nestie and stamped it with a TH script stamp. The papers are all SU and the edges distressed using the TH distressing tool then Bronze stickled. I distressed the metal corners with markers, cut the flourishes with the Marianne Createability die and made the flower with brown mulberry paper (just wish it didn't look black). The flower center is Prima as are the pearls and the lace is from my stash. The tiny butterfly is Rayher and I tinted it with distress inks.
Just look at the prize on offer this week - I love it and I want it, just look at that expression on Hoppies face.
So getting creating, get entering for a chance to win this adorable image.
I was hoping to catch up commenting now my eye is nearly better, though I'm still getting blurred vision when it's tired, but so far today my internet connection keeps disappearing. It's been back for about an hour now, so hopefully it's here to stay and I shall be getting round to you all tonight.
But just in case I'd like to say thanks for all your lovely comments, they really do make my day, I love you's all xx
