This one is for four challenges
By the Cute and Girly - who require something old - the thread (about 5 years), something new - image, something borrowed - the tutorial on WOJ for making buttons, something blue - the papers and more.
Simon Says - a recipe - 1 image, two patterned papers and three types of embellishments, the buttons, the leaves and the ribbon.
Your Next Stamp challenge - Buttons
One Stitch at a Times - Boys to Men
I coloured my little Hanglar boy with distressinks. The papers are the Checks & Paids set from Donna at Bearly Mine Designs - perfect for 'boy' cards.I stamped the edge of the papers with the edge of a corner stamp from the Prima Build a Frame set and the corners of the image with a corner stamp from Basic Grey. The border is cut with a MS punch and I made the buttons from a tutorial at Whiff of Joy tutorials. Can someone please tell me - do glossy accents 'go off' because this has dried somewhat lumpy and hasn't done this previously, or perhaps it'g the sticky heat here today. I shall do some more and try putting them in the fridge. Just had a thought whilst writing up this post - cracked it - covered them with clear nail polish - that's got rid of the lumps and bumps - just have to wait for that to dry now!! The leaves I've added are from my stash.
Distress Inks usedSkin - Tattered rose, Antique linen
Jeans - Faded jeans
Top - Peeled paint
Hair & shoes - Vintage photo
Now it's back to knocking the tiles of one of my kitchen walls - knocking chunks out of my fingers as well, still not much to go!!
Fab card as always, this Hanglar images are so cute. Great colouring! Hugs;moni
