Welcome to our One-Year Blogoversary Celebration!!
We've got LOTs of surprises in store and can't wait to share all the details with you.
I would, however, like to take this opportunity to say a special THANK YOU to all of YOU, our awesome participants, to all our AMAZING sponsors during the past year and, a VERY special thank you to the Copic Creations Design Team – a fabulously talented group of true Copic artists!
None of this would have been possible without each and every one of YOU!
This week, for our special event, we decided the challenge would be to use Your Favorite Technique that we've featured during the past year. We've also contacted all ourFAVORITE sponsors from the past year and have a HUGE prize package give-away for one VERY lucky winner!!!
Check this out:
Gina K Designs – THREE stamp sets: Friendship's Garden, illustrated by our own Asela Hopkins! Purrr-fectly Delightful, by Theresa Momber & Home Tweet Home, by Rupa Shevde
Susana's Custom Art & Card Design – Elisabeth Bell's Sampler Edition 3 & Victoria Case's Aurora collection
But wait, there's even MORE!
If you stop by the individual blog of each Copic Creations Design Team member, you'll find a special prize being given away in celebration of our anniversary!! Specific details can be found on the DT members' blogs. Pretty cool, huh?
Here is my choice - being my usual wishy washy self I couldn't make my mind up which challenge to choose so I opted for throwing a few into the 'pot' as it were.
Copics used
- Blue jeans - B0000 B00 B23 B45 B93 B95
- T-shirt (greens) G0000 G000 G023 G21
- Blond Hair Y0000 W1 W3 W5
- Black (Video pad & trainers) C00 C1 C3 C5 C7
I used Mo's fabulous image Video Boy, the papers are Basic Grey's Vintage and called Aged and Confused Vagabond. I used an MS deep punch for the borders and a Spellbinder fancy tag for the sentiments.I didn't really want a flower but felt it needed something in the bottom corner so I opted for a funky flower using the EK Succes Daisy punch. Ribbon and brad are from my stash.
My prize - the card should the winner want it and the Elizabeth Bell, Sugar Nellie stamp 'Rope Swing'.

My next post is for House Mouse Monday challenge and is a sketch by the lovely Emma.
and this is my interpretation of it, I kept almost exactly to the sketch. I used the image Mice Cappucino and coloured it with the usual Copics. The papers are the same as Copic Creations - Basic Grey's vagabond. The borders are cut with an MS punch, the flowers from a Woodware punch and the two tags are a fancy labels die cut in half. I couldn't make my mind up (still wishy washy!!) what colour to use for the cup so I tried pale green, then pale blue, neither were right so I just used some of both blue and green and have to admit I rather like the effect that this has given. The pearls are from my stash.
Well, I hope you've all had a great weekend and the weather is better than here - it's freesing cold today and it snowed again this morning, although it didn't stick thankfully.
