Eline's DT card for Sketch Saturday

Before I start this post, a quick apology - I thought on Friday morning I had my internet connection back - WRONG!! It lasted all of 30 minutes and then disappeared yet again so the serious catching up, visiting and commenting I promised didn't happen. I eventually got it back late Friday after several phone calls and two visits from the engineer. Hopefully I'm now back for good.

Just a couple of quick cards for Sketch Saturday. I used a couple of  Eline Pellinkhof's baby images, these are now available as downloads at Squigglyfly at a brilliant price. My stock of baby cards is low on bothe boy and girl so I decided to do one of each.

The papers are free download from the fabulous Martine at the Craft Table. and the images are both coloured with distress inks. On the pink baby girl I cut the image out with oval nesties, the borders with an MS punch, the leaves with the Sizzix leaf and branch die, the flowers with Woodware cherry blossom punch and the buttons are some from a pack that was with my birthday gift  from the lovely Jo. The sentiment is computer generated and the ribbon is from my stash.

The papers are again from Martine's gingham set, the details are the same except for the little satin Teddy in the heart of the flower and the border cut with an EK Success punch.  This one has not photographed well at all. The blue of the baby boy's romper suit looks distictly grey and no matter what I did I couldn't alter this - I will photograph it again in the morning and see if I can't get it looking right.

I hope you've all had a great weekend and that you have a good week, mine can't be any worse that last that's for sure, unless my internet connection gets amputated again.
