Just Magnolia

Thank goodness I don't have to do Pink and Grey again for Just Magnolia - I was a real Happy Bunny when I saw this week's challenge -  it's hand made flowers and I just love making flowers.

I decided to use one of the lovely Hanna's sketches (2 down - 2 to go - unless she's  thrown another one into the pot whilst I wasn't looking - which wouldn't suprise me - hee-hee). Another fabulous sketch which was a sheer delight to work with. This image is Jam Tilda  (?) and I decided she would sut blue - perhaps too much blue. She is coloured with Copics and the edges coloured with distress inks. The papers are a download called Hope from Funky Fairies, the pearl flourish from Basic Grey, the leaves cut with the Leone Em Ash branch punch and the smaller ones with the Carla Craft leaf punch. The smaller flowers and pearl stems are from stash. The flower has photographed a little dark as you will see in the close up below.

A close up of the flower, cut from printed papers, sprayed with glimmer mist and shaped when almost dry. I cut some very fine white card and curled it for the center and added a SU pearl.

This is Hanna's sketch which for some reason I could not enlarge.
