For this weeks challenge, our fabulous Design Team Member Anthea has created this fabulous sketch for you to play with :), feel free to twist, flip and stretch the sketch in any way you would like, as long as the sketch can be easily recognised you are good to go :), But remember the golden rule, there must be at least one item from Basic Grey used on your creations.

I used the Periphery papers this week. I followed the sketch but squashed it up slightly to fit a square card and in place of the circle I sat Alf on a bed of leaves. Alf is coloured with Copics and the leaves cut with the Leone Em branch punch. The sentiment is by Personal Impressions. Overall I like this card but I do think I should have left a small white border around Alf when I cut him out - he disappears into the background too much. I might re-stamp him (cut around the edge), lift him of the card and place him on the new restamped image.

ReplyDeleteLove it Heather - Alf looks fabulous perched on those leaves like that! The colours and papers are gorgeous too, subtle and muted to perfection. I think you have a little thing for these jingle jangle people at the minute, lol!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend ;o) xx
Love those papers. I am in love with Basic Grey papers lol. Only problem is my local craft shop splits all the pads up and only sells them in single 12x12 sheets. They don't do the smaller sizes either so it gets expensive buying them like that. I think I will have a look online for some pads though :)
ReplyDeleteI have something on my blog for you :)
