For this week's extra option we would like you to come up with something other than a card, but please remember that this is not compulsory. Here is a list of some of the things you could have a go at creating and hopefully the Design Team will inspire you with their fantastic creations too! This challenge came at a great time for me. It was my daughter's birthday yesterday (7th March) and I wanted a small box to put a few things in. I found this tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers. They have some great tutorials there, but sadly they never seem to be quite the size I want so I have to juggle around and re-size them.
I used orange bazzill for the box, and downloaded papers for the dp. The sentiment is computer generated and ribbon, flowers, leaves and eyelets from stash.
A couple of years ago Lisa (DD) had an eye infection, the hospital gave her drops and creams for it but it left her with a patch of white eyelashes on one side. Since then I have been tinting her lashes for her every 3/4 weeks. She decided she would like to do this herself so I bought her the tints & developers etc. to do this. I fastened the bow to the front of the ribbon and threaded a longer piece of ribbon through the eyelet holes and just tied this in a easy knot, so that the box can be opened without the bow being untied. This will make it easier for my eco friendly daughter to re-use the box, as I know she will.
