Whoopee - I'm on time for the Teddy Bo challenge this time and 'Punch it' is the theme. I feel like punching the bloomin' Grandson who gave me this stinking cold that's turned into a sinus infection!!!!
I've coloured Teddy Bo with distress inks this time, I'm little out of practice with these and so have decided to give Copics a miss for a while - well for as long as it lasts (lol). The papers are the gorgeous Graphic 45 Once Upon a Springtime and the sentiment is one of the new ones, along with the sweet little tag, from Lili of the Valley.
Now the punching - I used the Martha Stewart Garden Trellis deep edge on the side border, a large and medium EK Success Retro flower punches for the flower, I nibbled the edges of the petals with pair of those fancy scissors. The leaves are punched with a Woodware punch and butterflies are a Martha Stewart Royal butterfly punch and I embossed them with the cuttlebug Textile folder.
Now I'm all punched out and don't feel the need to punch that grandson of mine any more - thanks to all at the Teddy Bo challenge.
Well it's now early evening here - another day has disappeared with little achieved, although I now have a nice clear desk to work from.
Hope you all have a brilliant weekend and the weather is great for you.

ReplyDeleteOh, that's so gorgeous, Rica, the colouring is excellent, I think it has a lovely soft effect, and I do like the shades of pink and green that you chose.
ReplyDeleteI had another go at your box card tutorial, I had to adapt the measurements to take a longer image. Not sure about this one, I think it looked better as a square.
