We have another of Sharon's great sketches for you at Truly Scrumptious this week.
I must say this is very colourful for me. I'm not very good at multi colour, multi patterned cards, but I received my order from Simon Says Stamp and could resist using my new Basic Grey papers Hopscotch.
This is Lili of the Valley's little fairy Pom Pom and she is coloured in Copics, My Copics behaved much better, but I coloured her with out my daylight lamp and the temperature has got a little warmer, the downside of this is it has snowed yet again - roll on summer!! Her dress and wings are coated with the obligatory Stardust stickles and I picked up the blue, pink and yellow from the papers and used them to stamp the edges of the image with peg stamps. The frame is cut with square nesties, the flourishes with a Marianne creatable and the flowers are from Wild Orchid crafts.
Here is a close up of the image where you can see the sparkly bits a little better.

ReplyDeleteA great card and I love the glitter accents.
ReplyDeleteThe way you've picked out the colours of the papers with the peg stamping is brillant. So effective. This must be the most intriguing BG pad I've come across - do take care with the snow, we've just got driving wine & rain!
