There's a fabulous challenge over at Paper Sundaes this week the theme is circles. The challenge is being sponsored by Lili of the Valley and the team were invited to produce a card as a Guest Designers and here is mine.
This image is called 'Times to Treasure' - I'm loving all the new images and I get a huge smile on my face each time I look at one. I followed the fabulous sketch by Bev at the Lili of the Valley challenge blog - which I shan't be entering, naturally. I used papers by Donna at Bearly Mine from her extreme Vol III collection and cut the circles with Spellbinders nesties except the matt for the image which is a Nellie Snellon die. The two little cuties were coloured with Copics and the edges inked with Stormy Sky distress ink. The border is a Crealies die and the flowers cut with the Sizzix 3-D flower die. I used the small one and cut the first part of to get an even smaller one. The ribbon is in actual fact much paler than it has photographed but fortunately still tones in with the rest of the card.
Now it's back to completing my post for the two candy sneak peeks on a computer that has jumbled up all my files - yet again!! I now have an external hard drive onto which I am slowly and painstakingly uploading my files once they have been sorted out - ohhhhhhhhhhhh - great groan and sigh here!!
