Copic Creations - 1/11

It time for another challenge at Copic Creations and what a fun challenge this is - actually there is an option of two challenges this time.
Our main challenge is tackling the many (E - earth tone) BROWN Copic colors, and/or a secondary challenge of MAKING a SCENE! (Our sponsor this week offers some fabulous digi images to help you out with this part.)

We’d like to warmly welcome this week’s awesome sponsor, Make “it” Crafty, an online craft store and papercrafting community created by the SUPER talented and VERY sweet Zoe McGrath!! We also have the amazing Mag from Zoe's DT team as a guest this week.

I hope you have a few minutes to take a peek at all the features available at the Make it Crafty site. You’ll find everything you need for papercrafting, including all the most popular supplies, some very cool scenic digital stamps to create a scene with your favorite character stamps, and some very helpful video tutorials showcasing Copic coloring, various other techniques and how to use digi images in MS Word.

I have quite a few of  Zoe's fabulous images, waiting for the time to use but I did use the Haunted House on my House Mouse card this week - they are fabulous and I can't wait to start on some more. I have attempted to both create a scene and use the brown colours.

This is Whimsical log and Fluttering Sapphire Fairy. I 'shrank' the fairy and rotated her slightly to fit into the scene (perhaps should have shrank her a little more!!) She reminded me so much of Tinkerbell from Peter Pan I wanted her to remain quite light and fairy like so I Coloured with the palest B0000, YR0000 etc then went over her dress with Perfect Pearls. Her wings are stardust stickled and I gave her a 'halo' of glitter and glitter shapes - you can see this better on the picture below.

The log is coloured in a mixture of the E's - mainly the E 70's but I have used touches of E31 to add a little warmth and E50 for the highlights. I also used W1 to do some blending.

The papers used are MME and the edges are inked with Faded Jeans distress ink then stickled with Stardust.

Please take a little time to check out my 'teamies' creations - they are truly amazing!!!

Hope you all have a great week, I'm flying back to the UK on Wednesday and meeting up with my BG teamies, amongst others, at the NEC next week - can't wait. If any of you are there and see me - please say hello - I love meet you and say hello and perhaps go for coffee if you can drag me away from buying everything in sight!!
