Basic Grey is Sparkling

Well we have our new DT's joining us this week at Basic Grey. What a difficult decision it was to choose from so many amazing entries, we ran a poll and the four entrants with the most votes were selected. If we had all chosen our favourites we would haver probably ended up with more DT's than entrants LOL.

On to this week's challenge, we want to see lots of

SPARKLE

and as usual our prize is from the fabulous Heidi at Simon Says Stamp
and is a fantastic $25 shopping spree in the store.

Here is what inspired me for this week's card

This fabulous Fly agaric mushroom I found at the local duckpond whilst feeding the ducks, it just reminds me of fairies and the Sugar Nellie image I've had for ages and never until now used. There was also a fairy ring so large I couldn't get it in my camera lens, but I stood in the middle and made a wish.

This is very bright and colourful for me, I usually end up pretty much monochrome. The image is coloured with Copics and liberally sparkled with diamond and stardust stickles, which hardly show, this is so annoying as I spent ages sparkly the web with a fine needle tip. The papers are from the Green at Heart range, the border cut with an MS punch, the leaves are from WOC and everything else is from my stash.

This photograph does at least show a little of the glitter on the web.

This also fits the following challenges
DCD Christmas Club - Glitter, Ribbon and Gems
ACB  - W for wings
Sketch and Stash - where I followed the sketch, my new/neglected is the image, my leaves (about 2 yrs) and the raffia ribbon below the green ribbon. also the gems which I've had for a couple of years.

Hope you all have a brilliant weekend, I'm sorting out my computer which has, yet again mixed up all my files and photographs, urghhh!! I don't know how or why it does it!!!
