I was honoured to be asked to join the fabulous team over at PaperPlay challenges as GDT for the month of September and I'm really looking forward to joining them.
The sponsor this week is the fabulous Stitchy Bear Stamps
I was given this fabulous digi-image from this week's sponsor Stitchy Bear to play with. I have to say she was a delight to colour with Copics. I was going to give her a white background but discovered she looked much better on the turquoise pearl card so I cut her out and attached her with foam dots to the Spellbinders frameability and the green is out of my 'bit box'. The larger flowers are cut with a Nellie Snellon punch and emboss set, and I used Woodware punches for the smaller ones and the leaves. The pearls and ribbon are both from my stash.
I was supposed to put stitching on this, forgot, photographed it - remembered the stitching - went to put white gel pen faux stitching around the image only to find my white gel pen had 'packed in', wouldn't mind but it's almost full. Compromised by putting stitching around the green, photographed it and then sent in the wrong photograph. Anyway here's the one it should have been, probably sent the other because it's a better photograph - the 'wonky' photographer took this one.

ReplyDeleteYou have me in stitches but I love your frankness & know all the signs only too well - I tell myself it is part of the creativity. Love the card & the leaning aspect of the image, the colours are stunning together.
