The Image is called Winter Delivery and I coloured it in distress inks for the first time. I'll stick to Copics in future for this image - why some images lend themselves better to one medium than another beats me!!!
The rear panel is embossed with Cuttlebug's Snowflakes embossing folder, the inner one with the Snowdots folder. I used the Spellbinder's Fleur de lis pendant to frame the image, the snowflakes are cut with Spellbinder's Create a flake and the holly leaves with a Crealies die. The brad and ribbon are from stash.
I've been watching the swallows all day gathering together to getting ready for their long flight to Africa.
I find it quite sad, I do wish I was going with them - on a plane of course!!
Still one of the beauties of this time of year - you can put butter in a cupboard and it comes out the right consistency, not like summer when it's to runny or too hard if you put it in the fridge -great!!
Hope you've all had a great weekend.

I'm itching to have a go at this White on White technique. Amazing example of layering embossed white onto plain white. This is lovely & classy too with the Distress Inks. It is odd how certain images just want to be coloured in a particular medium. It's as if they have a different character when coloured differently.
