At Copic Creations this week we want to see shading. Copic Shading ~ either ON your image or AROUND your image – or both!
And, we KNOW you’ll be excited about this news ~ We’re VERY fortunate to have one of the most popular stamp companies in town as our sponsor this week . . .
Our prize this week to one lucky participant is . . .
TWO Kraftin’ Kimmie stamp images of your choice!!
I'm not too happy with this one, I sorted out my papers, coloured my image, tidied up my craftroom and haven't found the image and papers since,
I'll leave my mess as it is in future. So it's was all haste to colour another image and use different papers. I've imagined her in a spotlight shining from the left front. I added shading under her jawline on her hair and around her arms and body. I've also tried to create a shadow falling on the background to make it look a though the light was creating the shadow, also on her petticoat where the dress would be hiding it from the light.
The papers are from Basic Grey's June Bug pad. The ribbon, leaves and flowers are from my stash.
You showed us some awesome creations for the last challenge of colouring pleats and folds, now lets see what you can do with shading.
Please visit the challenge blog and have a look at the fantastic cards created by my fellow teamies and check out the "In the Spotlight" creation from last times challenge.

I've always known tidying up was a bad idea, but you've just reinforced it lol! A really cute card Heather love the colours.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card my dear friend! Hugs, moni
ReplyDeleteThanks for the shading description - really instructive. Those gremlins are the limit, it's really not on when they do that, particularly underhand trick that one.
