Oh I love this, and I love that you all come up with solutions for my various disasters. Where's the mark on my desk? - under the mat for the present time, I'm going with Julia's suggestion to try and restore it, I'd like to think I could but I don't suppose I will.
I bet you all think I have a weekly disaster - WRONG!!!! I have a daily disaster. The worst this week was being bitten several times around my eye, in the middle of the night, by mosquitos, couldn't open my eye for two days and when I could my vision was horribly blurred (a bit frightening really). So it was little or no computer or crafting for a few days, however we're all back to normal now - just need to put a mosquito net up at my window.
Today's problem for you - haven't really got one other than my kettle is leaking water a quick as I'm putting it in. Got the solution for that one though - Sling it in the bin and buy a new one. It's only 7 months old and I would take it back and complain but I haven't learnt how to complain in German yet!!
Well here's my desk - just how I like it - ready to start. I'm having a play day today. Some photographs there I'm going to 'age' and crackle, my distress inks to make backgrounds and some stamps sets I intend to use to use on the backgrounds. Lost my mini spritzer - hence the garden spray, I quite like this as I can get a finer spray with it. Sunglasses????? My box of cut and dry and the obligatory egg cup of water. Leigh - the answer to your question - an egg cup makes a lot less mess when knocked over that a bucket!!!
Sorry - nothing really interesting to see.
I shall endeavor to get round a few more of you this week, my eye put a halt to it last week and I got so far behind on my DT commenting I was frantically trying to catch up.
hi Heather------ I wish my desk would like to look like yours! Mine is a chaos today! :-)

Aw, you poor thing - a course of anti histamine from the chemist - I hadn't had any for about 20 years and really paid for it last year. This year I 'topped up' and haven't suffered from a single bite..I have been bitten but no reaction...specially not like yours, poor you. And it's such a waste of time! Your desk is aching to be used and those stamps are dying for your attention - aren't they yummy! You're the second I've seen today who has a box of pre-cut C&D foam..honest I'm such a twit!
ReplyDeleteLooks a very organised desk. Thanks for sharing :-)
ReplyDeleteLovely clean desk, Heather. I'm sorry to read about your mozzie problem, I'm a magnet to them too, glad we don't have them in Ireland really!! I love the container for your distress inks, so tidy - and those stamps to the left are verrrrrry interesting too.
ReplyDeleteJulie (who forgot it was Wednesday until now!)

Great desk .... apologies for my tardiness this week!
ReplyDeleteSorry I'm so late this week. I feel for you and your leaky tea pot. Nothing worse, I'm sure! Love that desk, though. Would love to come play in your space, since I'm a neat freak.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your lovely comment on my reverse stamping attempt. You are too sweet. Happy belated WOYWW.
Very late getting round this week. Tidy work space. My desk never looks that tidy even when I have cleaned up!
ReplyDeleteYou are too too funny! What a warm and bright place for you to create your masterpieces!! Glad your eye is better, that must have been a bit scarey to have the blurriness! Didn't know you had those little buggers way over there - they're Wisconsin's state bird! :)
ReplyDeleteThis late post should find you well on your way to good eyes again. Thanks for the peek at your desk. Looks like it is just waiting for your return.
ReplyDeleterofl at the less mess with the egg cup spilling....very true. I'm so sorry to hear about your eyes. There's not many houses where I live in North Queensland without screens. Couldn't stand it otherwise especially in the wet season.
ReplyDeleteTake care and get better soon. The farm will miss you. lol
Great space!! Sorry I am so late posting xx I would love you to pop to my blog for a chance to win my candy :0) It's Here
ReplyDeleteA haven of tranquillity yet again!
