We have a fabulous challenge for you over at Basic Grey this time - PEARLS!! Now who doesn't love pearls. But PLEASE don't forget to use at least one item of Basic Grey on your creations
I used one of Mo's delightful images called Kimono. She is coloured in distress inks, and the edges are inked with Vintage photo. The red paper is from the Sugar Rush pack - the yellow - ????? it was loose in my BG box and I couldn't determine which pack is was from - shame on me and the oriental paper is some the lovely Rosey sent me from Singapore. The brown pearls also are Basic Grey's.
I had a Japanese coin charm that sat with the card whilst I was making it - where was it when I came to attach - GONE!! I've been looking for it all week to no avail, no doubt it will turn up now. What did turn up, from goodness knows where is the dragonfly - he seemed to be asking to be included so I stuck him on. The flowers are cherry blossoms from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Wow, for me to make an Oriental card, I seem to run around looking for all the Oriental papers in my stash then trying to match them all not thinking that to use ONE is the way to go. This is a lovely card and the dragonfly gives it a certain something.

Well the vanishing fairy is afflicting you as well. Love the dragonfly & your image. The way your colouring matches the papers is brilliant & these are such lovely rather more elegant oriental colours than the ones I normally see. Delightful corner embellishments. I can go on but it won't be doing your eyes any good trying to read........
ReplyDeleteTake care
