I'm in a Lily of he Valley mood this week, so I decided to enter their Challenge and follow the fabulous sketch by Dawny P.
I coloured this delightful couple with distress inks, used liquid pearls on her dress and Frosted lace Stickles on her flowers. The papers are Vintage shabby byTim Holtz, (the grey) and Donna at Bearly Mine crafts (the pink). The larger white flower is made with mulberry paper and the smaller ones are from my stash. I used a Marianne createabily die for the flourishes and added two pearl stems from my stash. The sentiment is WOJ and cut with a Spellbinders fancy tag and the ribbon is also from my stash.
Now I shall be turning this card into an easel card - and those of you who know me know why!!! Yep - done it again!!! Rather than alter it and then photograph it I thought I show you my ooops! And here it is - upside down this time, sometimes they're back to front. Now I have half a card left and will have to made another easel card to use it up - oh dear!!.
Good job I like thunder storms, we had a real beauty here last night. thunder, lightening, really heavy gusty winds and torrential rain. It had cleared up by the morning and happily it's still hot but the air has been fresher today.
