Here's a card I started a couple of days ago for this week's Sketch and stash. I use this fabulous image from Nikki at DewDrop Craftz - this one is called Traveller. Nikki has kindly asked me to be a DT for DewDrop Craftz, which you can well imagined I jumped at, there are so many stunning and different digi images in store.
I've coloured this one with Copics, this is not how I intended to colour it - it sort of told me how it wanted to be coloured - I often find this with new images, I really don't get much choice. The papers are Tim Holtz's Vintage shabby and the blue is from DCWV Linen closet. Both of these are from Simon Says Store, as is the Prima Say it with Flowers center I used in the middle of the inked chipboard oval. The sentiment is a Tim Holtz adage ticket, crumpled and ink and the edges of the paper are inked with Vintage photo and the thread is from my stash.

Look what I found in my camera - my WOWW photo's. I'd forgotten all about these - a bit of a mess again, left from Tuesday night. I took the photo's
so I might as well show them.
This was where my computer and friends lived. You can see the sun shining it - it was either in my eyes or - if I moved things round, on my screen and I could see a thing. SO - I built the computer station below in between my storage cupboards, not a lot of space and I did forget about the printer (will have to sort him out later) but it didn't take me long to clutter up the free space did it?
The lesson learnt is - the MORE space you have - the MORE mess you make!!!
Well that's it for today - I'm still catching up commenting from Mr Blogger behaving badly on Tuesday!!
Your colouring is just stunning Heather even if you are listening to printed images lol!

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing where the magic happens too. Your desk arrangements were exactly the same as mine. I started out like pic 1 (sun in eyes) and moved it to pic 2 (sun on screen - but now I have the laptop on another surface further to the right of the desk). LOL
Have a great weekend!
