I've just finished three cards I started on Friday, these are for Clean and Simple, I did one, didn't like it, did another, didn't like that one either - in fact I'm not that keen on any of them. Good job they are not only CAS but quick and easy as well.
This first one is just leave cut with the Sizzix leaf and branch die, the flowers are silk and the centers from a Provocraft flower die set plus pearls. The backing paper is Crafty Individuals Background paper, the sentiment WOJ and cut with a spellbinders Fancy label.
For this one I used the Elusive images stamp set Eastern grasses - Eileen at Ikki's Cuttlebug Cupboard used this in a post recently (far more effectively that me I might add) and it inspired me to ink mine up. I brayered some paper with Adirondack ink in a variety of colours then stamped the image over it with Versamark black onyx. Should really use Stazon but I hate this stuff with a vengeance. I initially use just the white ribbon and put the stripe on it as I didn't like it - still didn't like am now debating whether to try plain black. The ribbon is supposed to go over the image but I just couldn't bear to cover any of the image.
The final one is also stamps from the Eastern grasses set and I stamped them onto some of the remaining brayered card stock. The band is cut with Spellbinders boderabilities die, threaded with ribbon and fastened with to brads and spacers. Both the lower two image have been spritzed with Glimmer Mist which has settled in little globules in parts, I'm putting this down to using a shiny card stock, and now I know not to spritz this again.
I for one am glad the weekend is almost over - I was at a management AGM yesterday - in a hot stuffy room, for over 8 hours and all in German much of it went sailing over my head but had to stay because the voting didn't take place until the end.. I got home well after 8, starving hungry and with a thumping head. Woke up this morning with head still thumping away - it's just about cleared now - phewww!!!
I love them all, you are so good at doing C&S, hope you had a good weekend.
