We are sponsored this week by Sew Many Cards and the prize is 5 digital stamps of the winner's choice.
I've made something I've been meaning to do for a while now - a box to keep my stamped images in. I get sent quite a few HM images as you people all know how much I love these little chaps. I've been keeping them in a celophane bag, but find they can get crumpled around the edges.
I used paper from Cosco and followed a fabulous tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers. The image is Blueberry Delight, coloured it in Copics and I've stamped little feet marks randomly over the dp. The corner pieces are cut with the MS Lattice punch, the image with a Nellie Snellon die. The flower 'base' is cut with another Nellie Snellon die and the tiny flowers from Woodware punch.
Look - I've even added little feet from beads and use silicone to attach them. I wasn't sure this would be enough but they're solid as a rock. The darn mousies have also left a trail of footprints around the box. I've fastened the lid with a ribbon loop and another bead fastened through the box with thread. The side panels
are also cut with the same MS punch.
Believe it or not there are 30 odd images in there - room for plenty more (tee-hee).
Now all that's left is for me to create a further storage holder for the larger stamps - as some of you know they can be huge.
This is totally amazing and beautiful, I love the design and all the finishing touches of your box.
