It was my choice at House Mouse Monday Challenge this time so I thought as it is Easter this coming weekend an Easter theme would be appropriate.
The prize this week the winner's choice of 5 of the fabulous digi-images
from Sew Many.
As you can see - I've been playing again. I thought I would do an egg shaped card, easier said than done - as usual. The papers are Basic Grey (help!!.......can't for the life in me remember which one) and the edges are stamped with peg stamps and the sentiment computer generated. Where are the mousies I here you ask, actually I've use Hoppies this time from an image the lovely Christine sent me......and here they are on the inside of the card.

I used an MS punch to replicate a fence and stamped grasses around the bottom, I coloured the Hoppies with Copics, cut them out and placed them on, behind and above the 'fence ' with foam pads.
Here is a close up of the images, this one really does look better in real life, I think sometimes the camera struggles to distinguish between the patterned paper and the image and they tend to blend together and lose some of their impact.........I need to remember this when designing a card.
Now I'm wondering if I dare go and spend any more money on new stash, I can't use what I bought at the NEC as I have no crafting facilities here - how frustrating is that?????

ReplyDeleteAdorable card Heather! I know EXACTLY how frustrating it is not to be able to craft properly, because I'm working out of a small suitcase myself - and I'm really struggling. That's why there have been no crafting blog posts lately. I can't wait to get back to "normal" again!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your trip, and have a safe journey back.
