Basic Grey and SFTW guest DT card

We have a photo inspiration for you this week at Basic Grey

Feel free to interpret the photo any way you wish, from colours to elements and patterns the choice is yours, Have fun, oh yes but don't forget to include at least one item from BasicGrey on your creations if you wish to be in with a chance of winning this weeks prize which is pictured below :)

Here is my interpretation, I chose the colours yellow and blue and the child's bedroom theme. The papers are Wisteria (have to be my all time favourite - so far) and used one of Mo's delightful images, this one is called Two Jill and I've coloured her with distress inks. The sentiment is computer generated, the flowers, spacers, brads, pearls and charm are from stash and the leaves cut by hand, scored and  inked around the edges.

Here is this weeks Prize which has been sponsored by Simon Says Stamp , Just look at all those scrummy goodies.

Be sure to check out the other DT's fabulous creation this week.

This next card is one that should have been posted yesterday, it is my card as GDT for Stamping for the Weekend, yet another ooops!! The theme this week is monochromatic and the challenge is sponsored by the fabulous Simon Says Stamp with a $25 voucher.

The image is the beautiful Maribel by Stempelglede and the borders of the dp (Magnolia) are stamped with a stamp from Stempelgede's grunge collection and heat embossed with white powder. The edges of the image are ink with distress inks and the whole image surrounded by lace. The panel at an angle is stamped with a text stamp by Tim Holtz  The butterfly is by Anne Marie Klipp and the flowers, feather, pearls and leaves are all from my stash.

Hope you all have a fabulous weekend, it's snowed here again during the night so I think that means a crafting weekend for me!!
