Had to Share this one with you.

You know how I've been grousing about not being able to find silicone glue here in Germany. Paul (my son) rushed in yesterday saying "You'll never guess what I've got for you - silicone glue!!"  When he produced it my jaw hit the floor - actually it's still there - for  heavens sake - I'm making cards not plumbing in bathroom suites.

Just look at the size of it!!! That's a Copic pen next to it so you can see how big it is. It is acid free so I suppose if I can find a dispenser I could in fact use it.  So now the hunt for silicone glue is over and the hunt for something to dispense is on.

Now I'm going to see if I can't finish my Just Magnolia card which I started on Friday - that's if I can stop giggling.

  2. Well I think this is enough for a few cards. In the Netherlands there are also a lot of people who use the bathroom sillcone gel. :)

  5. Oh what a laugh, you've brightened my evening. I thought it was just my dad that had done this. He uses it at work and heard me say to my mum that I needed some silicone and brought some bathromm silicone for me to use. "That will save you some money he said" Bless him.
    Happy crafting

  10. This reminds me of when Amy was little and I asked ray to get some candles for the cake ,, he brought 6 12 inch long ones lol :-)

Maybe you could just used this as it is ,,, squeeze a bit out onto a scrap of paper and just pick it up with something ,,, err tip of your craft knife or something ,,,, :-) I often do it like that anyway ,,,,

  11. Rica, thats what i use to make all my projects with ... i just transfer it into a syringe that i got from hobbycraft. Not sure what the syringe is supposed to be used for but it works really well for me and is a fraction of the price and lasts ages!!!! Jillix
