Truly Scrumptious DT

A big thank you for all your 'Indian Summer' cards for our last challenge. My turn at Truly Scrumptious to at produce a sketch for this weeks challenge - fairly easy for you  I think.
And, as usual, we have an extra challenge for you. This time we would like you to use a minimum of THREE stamps - NOT including the sentiment. Perhaps you can create a scene, use some border stamps or create your own background - as long as you use three stamps or more AND follow the sketch then your card will be eligible for the prize draw.

We are happy to welcome Design House Papercrafts as our sponsor for this challenge.
Our Design Team have made some beautiful cards which we hope will inspire you.

I received my Stempelglede Grunge Flourish Heart collection at the weekend and just couldn't resist using them. I have actually used four stamps  and have pictured them below as it's not easy to tell.

The main image is the heart, the next one is stamped around the perimeter of the heart. the third in the corners of the smaller square and finally around the corners of the larger square.

The leaves are cut with Sizzix branch & leaves die and the smaller ones with a Woodware punch. The flowers are from Papirloftet, the pearls from Wild Orchid and the little die-cut butterflies which I ran through the 'bug' using  the Textile folder are from stash as are the pearls I used for their bodies and the feather. I decided the heart receded once I'd added the flowers so I lightly coloured the centre with Copics.
One word of advice folks - feathers do not like to be sprayed with glimmer mist -
another experiment gone wrong (lol)
I really enjoyed making this card although it took ages and I think I've decided I'm a 'Grunge' girl at heart!!

  11. Heather, your card is breathtakingly beautiful as ever. You really know how to add the perfect hint of color and/or embellishment. The grunge flowers are wonderful with the elegant design of the heart and background papers. The hint of green (leaves) add interest to the other classy monochromatic colors. Amazing :)
