Another fabulous challenge at Double Dutch - this time it is to make a tea-bag. I used blue pearlized card as my BC and papers from the Basic Grey Periphery range. I thought the Wog image Henry with his cupcake would be good and there is nothing like a cake with your cup of tea. Henry is coloured in distress inks. I used this as a little thank you gift and added the sentiment on the back together with flowers cut from the BG papers with the EK Success retro flower punch. I cut the large flower in half and attached half to the back and half to the front.
Materials
BC - Craft creations : DP - Basic Grey Periphery : Image WoJ party animal Henry with cupcake : Ranger distress re-inkers : Punches EK Success and Leone Em : Flower - Prima : Sentiment - Clear stamps : rest from stash
Oh Heather, this is wonderful! I love Henry with his cupcake - and so beautifully coloured too! Really like how you cut the flower in half - looks awesome!

ReplyDeleteThis looks really fab Heather, gorgeous colour, I had a look at this challenge but I couldn't see how you would attach a tea bag and if you put an eyelet through the top as per the instructions how would you get it out of the package without destroying it. I'm probably being really thick but perhaps you could enlighten me.
