This weeks' Sarah Kay is a sketch challenge. I decided to trim the front edge of the card and place the scallops on the inside edge using cut out hearts to make a feature for the card inner.
I used papers from the Laura Ashley contemporary range. The image (Fanny's cuddle) is coloured with watercolours.
I find it difficult to know when to stop sometimes, I wanted to add more embellishments, but the card decided it really didn't want anything else - nothing looked right.
It didn't photograph well as some of the grey's look a little brown, when they're not.
Stamp: Sarah Kay - Fanny's cuddle Papers: Laura Ashley - Contemporary Spellbinders: Shapeabilities
She looks like something straight out of a fairy tale... beautiful layout!
