Ribbon Storage

As a request from Sam, I'm displaying my ribbon storage. I have tried many time to find the perfect storage for ribbon - one that is easy to use and takes up little space. This is the nearest I have got so far. The problems so far - the file isn't big enough, I haven't got all my ribbon in there yet, and I need stronger card to wrap the ribbon around (possibly with 'notches' in it) - both solvable problems. The ribbons are each fastened with that 'low tack selotape stuff - but there must be something better than this. Any suggestions or alternative ways of storing ribbon - PLEASE, PLEASE let us know.

  1. I had the same ribbon storage predicament and came up with ribbon ring. I made little plastic tags and hung the ribbon vertically on the wall. Love it! Check them out at www.ribbonring.com. I took them to CHA last week and they were a huge hit. Email me and I will send you a free sample. Melissa

  6. Hi
This is just a little note to introduce myself as part of SBS 21.
I had all sorts of knots etc with ribbon until I started storing them on card (with notches cut out) and then I put each colour into a clear plastic bag.
    Saves me heaps of time.
Look forward to sharing with you in SBS 21
    Best wishes Pat
