The girls from work took me out for a meal to celebrate my leaving and presented me with this beautiful bouquet. They and my customers decided not to buy me anything I would have to pack and take with me so they gave me a pile of euros to buy myself something when I eventually hit Germany - how thoughtful is that? It was all quite emotional really, it began to hit me I'm leaving my friends here for good, although they are talking about arranging a coach to come and see me when the Christmas markets are on - not all at once - please!!
The butterfly will probably end up on a card at some point in time - lol.Now I'm going to make a card, withdrawal symptoms are setting in again.

The flowers are beautiful! I moved away from my dearest friends 5 years ago, and I had a similar send off. I try to visit 1-2x/year, but it is hard. Now I have a new group of friends, but it takes time for the really special ones, doesn't it? I know you will bloom wherever you are planted :)
